Just Pencil

Assalamualaikum w.b.t.

These are my recent pencil illustration, most are portraits of people and also a figure drawing.

There's a lot more of drawing that i've made but most of it still need a lot of improvement, anyway, thanks for viewing and visiting.

Test 3D Head

Assalamualaikum w.b.t.

This is another test on Blender that i've made during my internship training. This is probably the first organic type of 3D structure that i've managed to made. Nevertheless, this doesn't complete yet.

Thanks for viewing and visiting.

Shutter

Assalamualaikum w.b.t.

These are some of the photographs that i've shoot the few past years ago using my old Canon 1000D.

A little butterfly on the grasses
The apples and a barbwire
A sunset view at Pantai Murni, Kedah.
These are just  basic shots that i shoot and photography is one of the thing that i need to learn more.
Thanks for viewing and visiting.

On Going Test

Assalamualaikum w.b.t.

These is my recently on going test on 3D physics of water simulation on Blender. It's still on a progress state and still need more detailing. * This simulation rendered about half an hour on a single core system and i am using a laptop (preferably a more powerful system for the heavy project).

As for the video below, this was a basic animation test using a basic shape of 3D model and the transformation of the box was a plug-ins that i've used. Its sometimes was fun experimenting with these stuff.

Blend It All

Assalamualaikum w.b.t.

This is a simple and basic video montage of a 3D showreel that i've made using Adobe After Effects CS3. The 3D model of a concrete barrier was a lowpolly 3D model, which had a little numbering on its polly counts or its points on its structure (This is my own point of view only).

This 3D model concrete barrier was done on Blender, which is an open source 3D software. In other word, its free for download. In my opinion, this is a great 3D software in which its functions was almost similar as Maya, the other top 3D software in my opinion (besides 3DsMax).

A simple and basic 3D models

Blender was my first 3D software that i've learned so far and this software just gave me the spirits to go on and dwell more on 3D animation, although i need to learn it all by myself.

A basic 3D model of bullet before apply shining effect

My advice, just give it a try and click here to learn more and download Blender.
Be advised that Blender are always updating its version and function. The newer version are always better so its better to keep updating.

The bullets with the shining effects and a soft lighting

p/s: I also need to refresh since its a long time  not using Blender and what bothers me the most is that my system is not capable of handling it. Sad story.

Reminiscing the Past

Assalamualaikum w.b.t.

Here i would like to share my old artworks of illustration which i've made during my taking on Diploma. These artworks was a foundation courses that was taught on a fine art basic which to sharpen the drawing skills.

Pencil detail drawing on A1

Marker rendering: marker/soft pastel on A3

Still life fruits: oil pastel

Haunting Spirit: mixed media on 3x3 canvas

Bricks Apples: oil paint on A3 canvas

Its a great moment to remember while i am struggling to finish these works.

Prelude

Assalamualaikum w.b.t. & greetings.

A short intro about  Nik Azri Abdullah , he's full name is Nik Ahmad Azri Nik Abdullah, aka Nik, Azri or Nik Azri Abdullah. Born on 23rd March 1990 in Kota Bharu, Kelantan.  An Art & Design student  doing a Bachelor's  Degree in Graphic & Digital Media at MARA University of Technology (UiTM) and  is about to reach his final year  this year, 2012.

He is more into illustrations, mostly in motion graphic and 3D animation. Although he is still learning to build up his own career in this field, he is capable of  accepting a demand for a freelance job during his free time.

Initially, he would like to share his recent artworks here as a designer in the making.

This was his recently project, which rebranding a local Malay's product and here he choose a Bepang, which is a Malay's traditional delicacies or snack. It is also known as crispy rice which is coated with a caramel. This short video was purposely for a video wall projection or known as outdoor monitor, which is usually projected at the shopping mall or most at public areas.

An example of a video wall projection/outdoor monitor, most displayed at malls, shopping complex etc.

This is a low resolution video and still got no audio but usually a video wall projection doesn't need any audio as long as its animate content can clearly send its message to the audience.

More are coming, stay tuned.
